Who are We?
Who are we? Secret Writer started when a friend of ours asked us to write a poem for his wedding. The catch was he wanted his wife to think he had written it! In many respects he had; he provided us with personal stories, and anecdotes he wanted included in the poem. All we had to do was collate the information and add a dash of creativity, time and experience! After the success of the first poem, then came requests for engagements, birthday parties, funerals, christenings, bar mitzvahs - the list was endless. ‘Secret Writer’ was a natural progression from all the requests we have received over the years.
Originally from England (where I studied creative writing and journalism) my husband and I moved to the US last year. We settled in quickly and expanded our family...a mad, loveable labradoodle called Bertie. When we are not busy writing, we like nothing more than to take Bertie for a swim at our local lake or a long walk through the woods behind our house.
